The Stones of Bothynus Trilogy
Meet the Greene Family.
Two precocious teenage girls with quirky parents.
…and Uncle Alistair.
The brilliant embodiment of civilized man and beloved storyteller is missing!
The Greene family is drawn into a world of intrigue due to their missing uncle’s research on three ancient stone artifacts—especially Red and Annie. Two of the stones are capable of changing one’s molecules so that they snap to different size scale grids and change one’s state of existence—the states curiously resemble those of ghosts or elves and allow communication with ethereal beings. The third stone is a mystery. Ancient demons may know what the third stone does and they are determined to possess the stones for their own purposes.

Book One: Snap to Grid
Meet Red.
Strong. Loyal. Obsessed with a Viking ghost.
Sixteen-year-old Red identifies with legendary warrioress, Red Sonja, as a coping mechanism for
the difficulties of teen life with ADHD. But even her inner warrioress is a little nervous about moving
into Uncle Alistair’s old mansion after seeing an
eerily captivating “Viking ghost” in an upstairs window shortly after his disappearance. And, she soon notices a crow acting strangely and feels like she is being watched.
Uncle Alistair’s graduate student, Erik, trapped in a ghost-like state by means of one of the stones, can only watch her. Unable to be seen or heard, he’s now more like an essence or spirit. Though Red has never been popular, her heroic goodness lends to the beauty of her essence and Erik is quickly smitten. He uses the limited tools available to try and reach her, including his crow friend, Moon. But, will he get to her before the cult? Can she solve the mystery and save him?

Book Two: Minimize
Meet Annie.
Bold. Compassionate. And way too curious.
The curious fifteen-year-old may be in over her head when she “borrows” a device that her uncle brilliantly crafted from artifact dust and uses it to shrink herself to explore a hidden cave behind a waterfall on her grandmother’s Smoky Mountain farm. After glimpsing an angelic being in the cave she works feverishly to decipher some ancient writings she copied from the cave wall. Intrigued and awed she discovers that the writings reveal a half-angel’s world of pain and strength.
Through no fault of his own, Aaan is trapped in an ethereal form never sure when he will be reincarnated and unable to move on in the afterlife. Annie’s appearance in his hidden world makes him smile and is so unexpected that he begins to awaken from his long self-imposed state of dormancy and hopelessness.
But the cult is back and the family has to confront inner demons as well as powerful spiritual forces pursuing the stones. While Erik is away in Iraq trying to find his missing father, Uncle Alistair disappears again. It becomes clear that they are fighting more than flesh and blood and Annie’s logic tells her that the cave inhabitant may be Uncle Alistair’s only hope. Will he still be there? Can he help?

Book Three: Triangulate
Meet possessed Annie.
Wild. And out of control!
Annie must see Aaan again. Her obsession to decipher the etchings and learn about him last year and then seeing him at her uncle’s wedding have drawn her like a siren’s song. She realizes that she’s in love. But this year her summer only allows two weeks at her grandmother’s before flying to Budapest to visit her childhood best friend. On encountering a playful satyr manifestation of Aaan at the cave Annie is thrilled and it’s not difficult to convince him to accompany her back to Maryland and then to Budapest.
Annie is troubled when Aaan agrees to allow Erik to use him for research on the stones. Since Aaan is half-angel the Angel Stone mystery may finally be unraveled and open doors to ancient knowledge. But has Aaan opened himself to danger? And what about Annie? Will the cult track her to the Dracula-themed tourist trap in Transylvania? Will Uncle Alistair finally be forced to give the stones to the cult, who would certainly use them for the worst kinds of evil?
The battle between good and evil grows and each member of the family must join in, even the Bishop of Washington. And the visible battle is only the tip of the iceberg for the larger battle that rages in the Angel Realm.
